Another point about polyurethane front end bushings, besides the
squeaking....many times the bushings DO NOT come with the metal shells that
surround the outer periphy of the bushing so its expected that the original
metal shells from the original part will be reused. Its a nice idea but its
not always practical, so then you have to find another used bushing and try
to salvage that shell, or buy a new one and ruin its usefulness in trying to
remove the shell from it.
Get the OEM stuff, if the first one lasted 35 or 40 years the next one will
probably too!
