I have two 75's with TQ's and have never had any serious problems with them. Never been rebuilt and both have 150m plus on them. The only thing I have ever done to them was replace what is called the " quad rings". These are square rubber o-rings that go in the bottom of the main well of the fuel bowl. I have done this twice to both carbs---- simple air horn removal is all that is required. The symptom of this problem is excessive cranking time either hot or cold. After replacing these
the engine starts immediately. All I can say is the TQ is a great carb!
