The number of hold down bolts changed with the '63 model. It also included
little tabs that help line up the gasket that are absent on the prior years
models.
These gaskets will work on earlier years, but the tabs have to be trimmed, and
a little extra "goop" needs to be used where the additional holes are.
Obviously, it is better to use the correct gasket.
