All Time Favorite?

I never have been one to post many thoughts in this
forum but I need to now...Yes the '57 MoPar line did
have its quality faults ( Took me 30 years to find a
'57 Plymouth original and nice enough to add to my
modest gathering), but from a personal standpoint it
was the 1957 Imperial at its introduction that
literally made thie hair on this little boy's neck
stand on end...Mickey Mantle and Herb Score ceased to
be my boyhood heroes and were quickly replaced by
Virgil Exner and Those who fashioned steel into the
artwork we know today as the "finest expression of the
forward look." In fact it is known that the whole
Chrysler line was recepient of several design awards
that year.
My love of the Imperial Marque began that Fall day 47
years ago and continues to this moment. I am very
fortunate to own a '58 convertible ( which I think is
just a little more refined than its predecessor) and a
'65 convertible whose design I'm almost as fond of.
and look forward to someday adding a free standing
headlight model to complete the triumvirate...God
praise and bless the '57 Imperial...It gave me a
lifelong appreciation for things automotive.
There I said it and I'm glad
