Exner Years/ Center Bearing Support

Yes, of course you are right. Mr Exner was at Chrysler way before the models 
that we are referring to in the post. This started as a string about which 
Imperials could use the new replacement center bearing support bracket 
described by a club member in our Website. You can probably go back through and 
see how it evolved.

Interestingly, since this thread began I have glanced at the 1956 Shop Manual 
and realized that the support may also fit the '56 Imperial. I haven't ever had 
to replace mine, but I have had it apart. As I recall, it looks very much the 
same as the other years. 

Can anyone chime in on this and tell us for sure?
