I think you found them



I am pretty sure that the Virgil Exner you found is our man. The dates jibe 
with what I believe to be the dates of his death.

I think the first Elwood Engel on your list is the one that we are looking for. 
I read an article on Lincoln styling a few years ago. I am pretty sure they had 
interviewed him just before he past away in the middle 1980's.
