On the mailing list and on the club list I see much appreciation and mails about the 1950's Imperials, the 1960's Imperials, and even the fuselage Imperials...
I am totally crazy about the 1974-75 years, but how many of you are there in the club list???
The 74-75 years are elegant, neo classic and opulent, but in a restraint manner...
I think the fifties and sixties Imperials are really nice, but for me the 74--75's are the epitome...(for the seventies department).
I hope someday there will be a greater appreciation for these cars, (maybe it's too early).
I think, especially on the market they are undervalued.
Of these Imperials not many have been made, especially the coupes, of which about 5000 in total have been produced for both years....
There are (where) two 1974 Imperial 2 doors located in the Netherlands, one is on the club site (the blue one) and the other is sadly lost by people who didn't care for the car.
Both these cars were in exellent original condition, the blue one was orginally silver frost, but had been repainted! The engine and wheels are not original and that's just too bad!
The other car was black with a grey velour interior but was misused and used as a daily car that stood outdoors in the city...
All Imperials are beautiful, but the 74-75 needs extra attention and appreciation, in mine opinion...
