Imperial Thoughts

Chuck,

It was great that the lady at the super market knew what your car was, and appreciated its condition and appearance.  I for one, never get bent out of shape when people call one of my 68's a Chrysler, nor do I correct them.  I can think back fifteen years ago when my wife and I bought our first 1968 Imperial, we didn't know much about Imperials either, except that they were the finest car that Chrysler ever made.  I often think of this when I am looking at the for sale ads in various publications, in a lot of cases, the people who own these cars and are trying to sell them, list them as Chrysler Imperials, regardless of the year.  Walter Chrysler was quite a man, who accomplished a great deal in a very short time, so I am not offended if someone uses his name
