Behind the dash of the 55

Hi list,  
I spent the weekend behind the dash of my 55 sedan
looking for the fuse to the clock.  I found the radio
fuse without to much problem.  I was not able to find
the fuse to the clock. Does any one on the list have a
good idea where it is located.  The wire from the
clock runs across the top of the radio and behind the
bracing.  I was not able to find were it went too.  I
figured it went to the ignition switch but I am not
able to trace the wire.  These darn old boxing glove
hands are not to handy behind this tight dash.  Is the
fuse by the switch?  Is it by the clock? I cannot see
it anywhere.  I could sure use some help.
