Take the old tubing off of your car prior to installing the new and practice on it if you're really worried. Two bends and you'll know what you're doing. It's really, really easy.
Ends: there is a hand tool that will flange out the line. I went back to the parts place so that I could avoid buying it and they leaned over the counter and dit it on the spot. -Drop the threaded end onto the line facing the correct direction, and flange it. Done.
This is so so easy. The counter person or someone in the place should be able to verbally explain or show you on a short (cheap) piece of straight raw stock right there.
You can also measure the linear length of your existing lines and buy corresponding prefab straight lengths. Give yourself extra as you will undoubtedly not be as accurate or effiicent with your bends (at least if I do it).
