I wouldn't give Engel too much credit for the e-body 'cudas and Challengers 
or the '71 b-body.  John Herlitz was primarily responsible for the '70 'cuda 
and '71 Roadrunner.  Those are two of my favorite designs.  I believe 
Engel's contribution was that he "oversaw" the designs and killed the 
fastback 'cuda.  IIRC Milt Antonick helped on the 'cudas and Brownlee was 
responsible for the Challenger and probably the other Dodges.   I think 
Herlitz was head of Plymouth through the Prowler and PT Cruiser until 
Daimler (boo hiss) retired him with the brand around 2000.

I always wondered how much Engel had to do with the design of the fuselage 
Imperials, because the fuselage cars seem out of character for him.  In my 
opinion his signature design is the Turbine car.
