oil sending units for joel hunter's 72



The oil sending units are located on the top rear of the engine block, just
in front of the transmission, right up against the firewall, when one of
these springs a leak, the oil can creep down the sides of the engine, travel
along the pan and drip off onto the floor far from the point of origin,
frustrating efforts of locating the actual leak.  On the 72 Lebaron there
are actually two sending units, since the car has both an oil pressure gauge
and a warning (idiot) light.  The smaller of the two units was leaking
profusely on my '72, I got the replacement at my local NAPA parts store...
