8 tracks



as far as I know, 8 tracks were an option starting in
1968, I think with the multiplex setup only.  This was
a very expensive option ($400 or something, if memory
serves) so its pretty rare.  That would be the
equivalent of spending $2000 in today's dollars!  I
guess they carried the 8 track option all the way
through till 1975...not sure if the 81-83 Imps had
that option...DickB might know for sure.
