1/2" of ride height is not a whole lot to deal with. Might be that just the silencer pads and some new bushings might do the trick. Don't forget to change the isolators where the springs mounts to the axle mounting pads, if they are not solid pieces of rubber that might have been compressed or deteriorated with age.
