Brand New Dead Battery

It is not at all uncommon for a "new" battery to be bad. Not sure what the
body shop means by "can't be charged", I assume it's "won't hold a charge"??
If it won't hold a charge, take it back to Advance and have it tested.
Their "better" and "best" batteries usually carry a warranty that specifies
free replacement for a limited time, after that, it will be pro-rated
depending on the length of warranty period. It just depends on what battery
you bought.
