Which I take to mean rather harsh, with lots of "road feel" where you are
subjected to every pebble and road imperfection by less-than-attentive road
crews. I'd wager that even with power steering, you still work the biceps
wheeling it through parking lots. Not very Imperial, if you ask me, with a
smooth boulevard ride and finger-tip steering. Even though I haven't been able
to drive my '59 since last July (she's in the throes of a lengthy restoration),
I'm stricken by how much more comfortable the Imperial is than my daily driver
'97 Riviera - the ride, seating position, ease of steering. Even with an
additional two feet in length, the Imperial is easier to parallel park than the
Riviera, assuming I can find a space that large!
