A/C woes'...Auto Temp...1970 Model year...



Chris,
If you jump just the compressor switch the compressor should engage. If it 
does, check the switch with a vacuum source, sucking on a short piece of hose 
will do. Once you isolate that, you can move on to other tests. If the fan 
doesn't come on when you push the "Auto" button, try pushing the "High Def" 
button first and then the "Auto" button, that is a common problem when the 
little vacuum check valves get old and dried out.
