Removing Wagon woodgrain vinyl

Hi;
Thanks for the info. Can you tell me what wurth is. I haven't heard of it before. Body work isn't my usual game mainly turning wrenches. This vinyl on my wagon has dried and cracked badly on the tailgate only. Will this eraser still work on this old vinyl. I found a piece of NOS vinyl on ebay to replace this with. Some have said to just clean the old vinyl up good and cover over it. Any comments on this approach? Both rear quarters are good but faded. I've also got to refinish the fiberglass trim that goes around the vinyl. Any comments or ideas on this subject. Do You know how to bring shine back to life on the old vinyl? I appreciate you taking the time to help me.
