If you mean the inlet to the carburetor, yes it does, but it is really
minimal in effectiveness - it is a cylindrical screen inside the inlet
fitting, which you can pull out with tweezers and inspect/clean yourself.
The real protection is the cartridge filter in the fuelpump to carburetor
line - if you haven't replaced that, do so!
