69 sedan

That means that the B pillar does not extend all the way to the roof.

It was stated that a hardtop does not have a B pillar. That is a bit confusing.
The B-pillar exists even on the hardtop, that's where the rear door hinges
bolt on, and that's where the front door latches on. However, the B-pillar
does not extend all the way to the roof, for styling reasons. Obviously, some
compromize in the car structure takes place, but its not as bad as a
convertible, and also our Imperials have very strong structures, so a small
compromize may be OK.

D^2, 68 Sedan, uncompromized structure, and 68 LeBaron hardop compromized
structure :)
