EFI starting problems (was: Fuel line check valve)

If your car is still EFI, the purge cycle that occurs each time you cycle
the key from off to run should take care of any fuel drainback. You should
hear the fuel pumps come on for a second or so each time you cycle the key
off/on - this is to purge the lines of any vapor. If this isn't happening,
you may have a problem with your automatic shutdown module, which controls
this purge timing, or with the fuel pressure switch (mounted on the pressure
line from the control fuel pump to the pressure regulator valves).

The two filters that mount below the passenger door hinge post are NLA from
Chrysler, at least at any reasonable price. However, if you take them in to
your local NAPA store, they can match them up almost exactly. I'm not aware
of any other filters, excepting the sock on the fuel pickup in the tank.

Subject: IML: Fuel line check valve

I'm replacing all the rubber fuel lines and filters in my '82. I believe
that my starting problem comes from the fuel draining back through the
pump(s). There are (at least) two check valves listed: one before the
control pump and one at the regular pump. I'd like to replace these, does
anybody know a part number or at least the specs so that I can find a
current replacement?

Thanks,
Rob
