Hi Hugh!
Since you're speaking of Packards, do you know anyone who would be interested in a 1949 with a 1950 paint color? The original owner was an attorney from SD and a funeral director from SD bought it from him. The funeral directore didn't like the "Army Green" and unfortunately had it painted a nice 1950 blue-green. The body is great and the hood has a magnificent SCHWANN rising far above the horizon. The interior needs some work and the straight 8 engine could use some help as well. The Electric Clutch was removed when it was nearly new since they didn't work worth a darn. The car looks very respectable and quite eloquent! The fairly new wide whitewalls enhance the look as well. (He also has an extra rim)
You can e-mail the owner at: RTWnotes@xxxxxxx if you know of anyone interested.
THANKS!
