It comes out just like your other MoPaRs. Remove the lower cushion by pushing in on it. It should come unhooked and pull it up and out. That will expose two bolts holding the upper cushion in. Once the upper cushion is in, you should be able to use a long slender screwdriver on the lock mechanism to unlatch it. Look a the mechanism on your NewYorker for guidance. Shouldn't be too much different. The ignition key is different than the trunk key.
