The problem is, once somebody runs a car to the derby, you can't undo it.  Its a
lot easier to destroy something that to repair or preserve it.

This is the country of "plenty".  Part of this plenty is also plenty of idiots
willing to destroy fine cars, and even more idiots willing to pay money
watching it.
