Can't answer the question about the front spindles, but you will not be able
to swap the front stub frame with any Chrysler model.

The 1965-78 Chryslers (non-wagon models) were all on a 124" wheelbase while
the 1967-73 Imperials were on a 127" wheelbase.  Although both cars were C
bodies, the front stub frame on the 1967-73 Imperials is 3" longer than the
Chrysler.   And now you know where Mopar hid the 3" stretch in wheelbase.
The 1974-75 Imperials were on 124" wheelbase, same as the Chrysler.
