Illiniois also allows the use of Year Of Manufacture plates, however, you
must carry a valid set of plates in the car at asll times when displaying
YOM plates.  Thre are some useage restrictions on the antique plates, but I
have never heard of anyone being bothered by the cops.  I can't say I know
of anyone who abuses them, either.
