This sounds like a good test. I think that this may becoming
increasing difficult to test for in the future as fabrics available
continue to become more "real". For instance, have any of you seen the new
faux suedes lately, or some of the more expensive pleathers? Someday, I
think this stuff will be hard to distinguish from the real thing.

No it will not hold the shape of the design and the leathers had a glazed
finish as well.. Softer leathers you would see in a pillow design style or
with gathers like 75 Imperials or later Lincolns Marks. In other words
you cant make a mans suit out of chiffon... Thats my three cents on
it
