New FINadict to List

Hello from Strasbourg, Saskatchewan, Canada. North of Regina, Sk. and a
little bit south of Saskatoon.
        My name is Don Uhl and I am a Moparaholic. All the vehicles that I own
are old, Classic or Muscle, mainly because I can't afford to own a newer
one and I can still fix most of the older ones. I have been around
finned cars since my Dad bought a 61 Chrysler back in 67. I know a
little about these cars so I will try to be of help to some of your
posts.
        I currently own 3 finned cars. The one I drive the most is a 59 Desoto
Firesweep 2dr ht, 361 2 bbl. I've owned this one since 1990. Can be seen

own this one gets the most looks from people on the street.
        The second finned car is one that I was after since about 1977. It is a
60 Sarotaga 2dr ht. 383 engine and swivel buckets. The car has sat in a
heated shop since about 1967 and has new old upholstery. This car runs
excelent, just need a carpet set before I reinstall the seats.

        The third finned 'beauty?' is a 58 Dodge Crusader 4 dr sedan flat six

In Canada these bottom line Dodges were just Plymouth with Dodge front
fenders and different trim. Not sure what I am going to do with this car
yet but the person I bought it from was about to crush it. Floor and
truck are rusted out but the glass, chrome body and motor all seem to be
ok. Would make a nice police car or taxi.
        You probably noticed from the last pic that I also have owned a 57

I had this car for about a year and then a fellow mopar person traded me
a 65 300L for this car.
