The Dodge Regent shared interior and trim with the Plymouth Savoy. The
Canadian versions used the 251.6-cid flat head six and the 303 poly V8.
The 303 was introduced for 1956 on the Canadian-built Dodge Custom Royal
(2-bbl carb) and the Canadian-built Chrysler Windsor (4-bbl carb). In
mid-year the Plymouth Fury was introduced in the U.S. and it used the 303
poly V8. The 1956-58 Fury was not built in Canada, although Chrysler of
Canada would import one for you.
