That's good to know; I'll check my 1958 Technical Service Bulletins and
"Auto-Technek Topics",
and see if/what I can find, about the installation of the L-cooled
trannies into all the Dodges.
Don't recall ever seeing any official notices regarding that very
important change-over.
Anyone got any factory literature on this subject?

the telltale is in the radiators, pretty much all D8 and newer

Nope. 59 Dodges, both Powerflite and Torqueflite were water cooled, at
least all V8s. Don't know about the PF Flathead 6.
