Ed, if I remember correctly from my 58 fury back in the day the centers had an anodized like appearance. I think it could be duplicated with thinned out gold paint, but would probably take some experimentation. Most of those I have seen with the centers painted with a full coat of gold paint definetly do not look right.

Concerning the FURY wheelcovers.

 

Does anyone know the color or process that was used (or can be used) to properly restore the GOLD color to the centers??

Looks like it was a coating process rather than paint??

 

Has anyone come up with good solution??
