For what it might be or not be worth, I believe that Exide makes ( or used to anyway ) the OEM batteries for Mopar. I had an Exide battery in one of my Magnums for quite some time, sold the car and it's still in it from what I know.

 

I'd say yes.

Any suggestions on a new battery for my 56 plym. I generally run die hard gold, but a new one of them is an hour round trip drive to get it.
Saw a local place with exide, but never used one.
