Forward look hearse. Sounds neat! Just helped good friend get a 40 Packard Hearse from Canada. Saw a similar but more tired one at Hershey. Forgot that i have forward loon Power Wagon also since it is a 57 and has the emblem on the horn button which really looks out of date. This is the military style unit and looks like it was built in the 30s. Had more fun with it than any of my other vehicles. Main use right now is to pick up dead cars and move them around. Occasionally haul cars to the crusher with it. ---------- From: Tim Heilman[SMTP:Imapig58@xxxxxxx] Sent: Sunday, October 18, 1998 1:59 AM To: tehoema@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx; L-FORWARDLOOK@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [FWDLK] '60 Station Wagon How rare are '60 Plymouth Station Wagons? I found one that is pretty complete in a junk yard for $600. I am going to buy it either way, if I can get the money and space together, but if it's really rare that's a bargaining chip with my mom. "Well, you just won't be happy until you turn our back yard into a car lot will you?" No. :) I have a one more random question. Does a '55-'61 Dodge Cab-Over-Engine truck (semi), count as "forward look"? I am also working on gaining access to a car yard that has a forward look hearse in it. I have seen this car with my own eyes. Very cool. Guy is mean, "parts only, leave your list of stuff you want, maybe I'll call you back." type. I am going to try bribing him next time. I will post an update on the hearse if anything happens. --- Tim |
