My experiences with cheap paint jobs were not good. I had my 71 Olds painted by a cheap-o place and six months later, the paint was peeling off. When I asked the guy to give me a repaint, he accused me of washing the car down with gasoline !! The second time, I paid $1000 at a better shop. Six months later the bondo was bubbling through. Of course by that time the shop had already changed ownership and I was S.O.L. Ron |
