Hello, and a belated Happy New Year to all! I was wondering if any of you could shed some light on a poster I've had for a long time. This is a poster, about 3'Wide x 4'Tall, looks sort of like a venetian blind, and shows the tail end of a 56 Dodge (V-8,Custom Royal Lancer, possibly D-500?)with a Gray saddle,Red bottom, and White tail inserts. Above the car, it says "Born of Success to Challenge the Future..." Underneath, it says in big letters-"56 Dodge". Anyways, I've always wondered if this was a stand alone poster, or if it was section of a larger display, and if MoPar (face Detroit when you say that name) had similar posters for other models or divisions. Can anyone shed some light on this? Thanks. Dave Wood Bay City, MI. Had a 56 Coronet, now re-doing a 68 Chrysler Newport Convertible. Might have to weld some fins on it. |
