I once replaced my M cylinder with another of the same configuration but not same mopar number. had the same problem- NO brakes. Bottom line- as was suggested by bruce- volume of M cyl was not appropriate to move the fluid in the wheel cylinders. I would guess this would be esp true if one had a M cyl that was of a large enough vol to move a total of 4 front and 2 rear wheel cyls and replaced it with a M cyl that was designed to work with only 2 front and 2 rear cyls. Believe power brakes is also an issue. If U R removing it maybe a little Pi R Squared times stroke could allow U to verify if the volume is a problem! Good Luck. L. |
