My experience with SMS wasn't exactly wonderful either. I still have the vinyl in the attic. The "exact match" wasn't exact enough for me and I'm not seeking a concours quality resto. The silver /grey vinyl was too bright and glossy and the charcoal was too dark. My rear seat was near mint (the only thing) and has an embossed logo on the back so I wanted a match that wouldn't bug me every time I got into the car. The local "good" upholsterer had samples of better (not so paper thin) quality and a better color match. SMS doesn't make the vinyls anyway someone else does to there specs.. My advise is to check out all current modern sources or at least get his sample before you buy it. I guess that I could recover the "lazyboy" with their exact match.
