FLookers: Not that I am in the' pipeline" or anything , but I have talked to some people in "the bizz' here in the Northwest, and as I recall, SMS and Gary Goers and OAI all know each other well and have "made arrangements". I don' t recall how it went, something like Gary gets all the 58 fabric and SMS makes and sells their own 59 fabric...maybe it is the reverse. The point I am trying to make each time I write on this topic is, you really must shop and compare all three. Just after I bought my red fabric from SMS, Pollock stopped making sport fury fabric. "Too expensive and not enuf demand". Well, now do I hear it is getting run again? Bottom line: He is a businessman. OAI has a lot of NOS upholstery. I ordered a front seat set for my 59 wagon w/ bucket seats (red), and he sent an extra set for FREE. But he doesnt have ALL the upholstery (e.g. rear seats), so if I was to continue restoring this wagon (which I am not), I would need fabric to match those NOS seat covers. Since that seemed unlikely, I would have ordered all fabric from one source. If you have hours to spend long distance on the phone, and time to wait foir samples to be sent to you, eventually you will get the results you want! As I said earlier, the vinyl from OAI was thicker, the right color and the right grain. I hope I am being clear??? roger -----Original Message----- From: Jim Woomer <Woomerj@xxxxxxx> To: L-FORWARDLOOK@xxxxxxxxxxxxx <L-FORWARDLOOK@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Date: Wednesday, March 03, 1999 11:16 AM Subject: [FWDLK] Fabric 58 Fury >All, > I have checked with Original Auto Interiors and they had 1 piece of the >fabric that they claim was original not a reproduction.
