The one in Pa that I've seen pictures is an Australian "Ute" belonging to
Merv Afflerbach of Quakertown.  I think it was a 54 Plymouth with the truck
bed moulded into the body of the cab which looked like the front end of a
car.  Hudson had a pickup truck like this some where in the 40's or earley
50's.
