Noticing how many '58 Plymouth fans are on the list, I thought I'd remind
y'all that Johnny Lightning (the big competitor to Hot Wheels back in the
old days) has recently released a very nice toy '58 Fury. It's part of a
creepshow motif series, including things like 'Elvira's car' (an early
T-bird vert) and you guessed it, Christine. The only puzzling thing is that
the cars are painted dark blue... wasn't Christine red with a white top?
Anyway, I painted and detailed mine to match a Savoy I had pictures of in
an old mopar magazine. It looks nice on the bookshelf above my computer!
The cars are heavy and nicely made, better than a hot wheels car.
