Walt - When does the noise happen ? Just when you're braking or, let's say, when you're cornering. What does the noise sound like ? It may be something in the area, such as a bad suspension part. Or a missing bushing on a control arm. Or a part that wasn't torqued correctly. I'm looking at an exploded view of your front suspension as I type this. Seems that this was the last year of King Pins, before they went to ball joints. Try looking for anything unusual in that area, since the King Pin holds the steering knuckle in place. If everything looks OK, take everything apart and carefully put it back together. See if the noise remains. Are you sure that you got the correct replacement parts ? Did you compare them to what was on there before ? These are just some ideas to think about.
