Sounds to me that you hit the nail on the head.
To me finding the parts for old cars is half the fun, swapmeets, wrecking
yards & the like.  But, if your anything like me it's painful to pay there
times the price for a part when you know the demand isn't that high.
The comment you made about mild customs is also very true.  My car is a prime
example.  Rusted out floor & 6 inches all around the bottom.  Someone pried
all the emblems off & broke them.  I've welded in new metal nosed decked &
dropped it.
I think the forward look cars are beautiful & would love to have a bone
stocker.
Maybe someday I will, but for now It's all I got.
