Thanx to all who advised. You were correct, the top is held on at the drip rail by tack welds about every 3". This one also had an adhesive soaked gauze pad under the whole top. Fortunately, due to our Pacific NW "liquid sunshine," the car was so rusty that all but three welds were already loose. In fact, the A pillars and the leading edges of the roof were rusted clean through! Still it was a two hour job. The wrecking yard is Wildcat near Sandy, Oregon; some of you who went to WPC Nat'l may remember it. About five acres, all MoPars, '49 to '70's.
