I used to be concerned about winter but with 40 or so cars now I just park them when I need to. My best 16 are in a great building which is dry and reasonably air tight even. I do not start cars unless I need them running as a rule. Worst wear on an engine is at start up. Oil is gone in a day or so anyway. Flooding with Marvel Mystery oil or the like is a good idea though as I understand. Never taken wheels off vehicles. They round up soon. Not unusual to start a car up after 2-5 year sleep and put 100 miles on it within days without much work on it at all. And the work will most likely be brakes it seems. ---------- From: Walter T. As long as there's no snow, i'll drive my Dodge. The heater works and i get double thumbs up cause people think i'm crazy for driving in the cold. Walter |
