I forgot to ask this before.
When I took the exhaust manifold of my flathead 6.
a couple of the studs came out instead of the nuts coming off and of
course, all the antifreeze poured out.

Should I try and remove the nuts, thread the stud in and then mount the
manifold
or leave the nut on and put it back in like a bolt.

should I coat the threads with some kind of sealer ?
