[FWDLK] Restoration Project: '55 Imperial Sedan

Yesterday I spotted this gem on a used car lot in Rocky Ford, CO (~1 hour
east of Pueblo, CO). It's a 1955 Imperial 4-door sedan...loaded with
options, including the factory Airtemp air conditioning! This car appears
to be complete and solid (except for a tad of rot noticed in one of the
front fenders), but needs TLC. It's green with a white top and has cloth
upholstery (with plastic seat covers). The odometer shows 69,482 miles.
VIN is C55-7103. (Man, I wish I had a camera with me!)

The lot dude purchased it from the estate of the original owner about a year
ago. This car has "lived" its entire "life" in southern Colorado, having
been purchased new in Rocky Ford. In ~1971-1972, the car was parked in a
garage, and was running at that time. The dealer says he has not tried to
do anything to the car...yet (no starting attempts). The dealer is asking
$3000 for the car.

If anyone is interested, you can contact the seller:

Gary's Sales and Service
4th and Elm Streets
Rocky Ford, CO 81067

Perhaps one of you who is also on the Imperial List can forward this tip to
them?
