I have 215/75 14 radial wide white tires from Coker Tire on my '57 Fury with the original wheels, have run a couple thousand standard highway and city miles with them, and have nothing but good to say about them. I'll never use bias plys on Mr. Finzzz, because I've now seen the ride difference between the radials and bias plys on the same car; it's like trying to decide whether to own a MoPar or a Ford -- there really isn't a choice!!! ;) And I also want to add my congratulations to John Paxos. I'm sure there is nobody more deserving than he. Although I'm still waiting for him to drive his car from NJ out here to the west coast. . . . Mark mjh '57 Fury Mr. Finzzz I always remember what's said but forget the source (credible or not). Anyway..... someone told me or I read somewhere that it was a bad idea to put radial tires on old rims. The reason being was that the old 50's or earlier wheels were not designed to withstand the different stress/load dynamics of new radial tires. This maybe only be referring to racing situations etc. I always remembered it being said but don't know it the info is correct or just more garbage info. Can anybody clarify this? Deane
