YUP you guessed it. He had it directly under the gas tank.

One BIG crease from front to rear.

Can you say "it aint a gonna hold 24 gallons any more"???

Basic cause; a tire dweeb that right handed his left hand lugs till 3 of
the holes in rim were uneffective.  New rim, replacement tires, came
home from tire store and wanted to put them on himself.

NEEDED; 70 Newport gas tank, complete. Straps look like they're ok.
