as far as tires, you can squeeze as large as 275-60 15's on the rear without rubbing, and 235-70 15 up front w/o rubbing. as for stock furys, a 215 0r 205 70 or 75 14 is fine by all means. and those original rims held up to 125 mph [rt 21] as you know john :) with original front end no less. also, halfway done with the disc conversion on a 57 plym. anyone have the ball joint socket up for rent for a day???? tops came right out with a 1 15/16 wrench, but cant fit it around the lowers....... jim |
