Check the vent, there should be a hose or tube leading from the filler tube to
underneath the car, you may have a bad place in the vent hose. As for the
heater,
on your car, this should be cable operated. You may have to do some digging
under
the dash to get to it, but it sounds like something has gotten down into the
heater and is keeping the heater door from closing all the way. It's either
obstructed, or the cable has become misadjusted. There should be a little
bracket
and clamp down on the heater, that you can loosen, then tighten back up for
adjustment. Give it a look also, tell us what you find and good luck!
